British Pattern 1853 socket bayonet with scabbard

Designed for the British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, it also fits others including the Snider Enfield conversion of the above rifle. Thumbnail type fuller. Ricasso has 3 line Enfield inspection stamp. Socket has regimental numbering typical of Canadian use. Blade in Very Good original condition shows use in the field. Brass mounted leather scabbard in good condition with some service wear. British broad arrow WD faintly visible.
