Yugoslavian Mauser Model 1924 Puska 98 rifle bayonet

The Puska 98 rifle was a surrendered Imperial German GEW 98 rifle converted by Yugoslavia to approximate the FN 1924 short rifle. The German 1898/05 butcher bayonet was reworked by slimming down the blade and grip to fit the M1924 scabbard. This specimen still retains German 1898/05 markings including maker, spine markings and fraktur on the pommel as well as remnants of the original wooden grips. Crossguard marked M24b. Bayonet and scabbard numbers match. Comes with original Yugoslavian leather belt frog.
