British bar on barrel P1860 yataghan sword bayonet for Snider Enfield short rifle (2 band). Considered interchangeable with larger muzzle ring diameter 12.7mm, slightly larger now due to wear and tear in use. Made in Solingen Germany by Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co. as indicated by their Knight’s Helmet logo on ricasso. Enfield 3 line proof on ricasso but no War Department markings. Leather grips in very good original condition, blade also in good to very good condition with some minor nicks as shown in photo. Regimental issue markings on crossguard. Steel mounted leather scabbard is G-VG, the leather showing spots of wear.
