Canadian Ross Mk I bayonet for the M1905 (Mk II) rifle. One of 20,000 Ross Rifle bayonets purchased by the USA in 1917 upon entry into the Great War. C broad arrow and US marks on right wooden grip plate. Retains original blade shape. Scabbard has flaming bomb and US marking. Tip of scabbard is resewn, very well done as if a field repair. Very interesting artifact and example of the unique Ross rifle bayonet.
