British P1853 socket bayonet relic condition
Lee Enfield No. 7 Mk 1 bayonet
No. 7 Mk 1/L (Land) bayonet for the Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 rifle is one of the most attractive and interesting British modern bayonets available. Pommel swivels to allow mounting on the rifle then swivels back to form a conventional knife handle. Beautiful post war blade pattern carried through on the No. 9, FN C1 and L1A1 series of bayonets. Brown Paxolin grips (a resin impregnated cloth composite), VG overall condition and well marked. M47B code on pommel indicates manufacture by BSA. Scabbard is steel mounted leather, essentially a cut down P1907 scabbard.
