Austro Hungarian Rifle Grenade

Called the Zeitzunder Gewergranate this was a time fuzed rod grenade fired from a rifle during World War One. This model is the first variant heavily serrated fragmentation grenade. Remarkably complete except for the pull igniter. Rod appears original. Empty and inert. Shown inserted into Steyr 1895 rifle for illustration only, rifle is not included.
