Prussian Model 1809/39 Percussion Musket (Potsdam Musket)
CA$1,595.00
This is the last version of the Potsdam Musket made in percussion action and used by the Royal Prussian Army briefly before adoption of the Dreyse Needle Fire breech loading rifle. These obsolete muzzle loading arms were sold to US Union forces in the American Civil War. This example is quite good with some Prussian marking visible on the stock and barrel. Has original sling swivels and bayonet catch and ramrod. Hammer does not cock fully and slips forward to half cock. Very good example for historical display or study. Antique rifle, no licence required to purchase or own.
