This is the 3rd Model Plant Pocket Pistol, .30 cal. Single action cup fire revolver manufactured circa 1860. Cylinder is marked ''PATENTED JULY 12, 1859 & JULY 21, 1863''. Very good condition with some original blue finish remaining on the barrel. Silver plated receiver has very little finish remaining and is worn smooth. Bore is very good plus, bright, with rifling visible. Matching serial numbers on bottom of barrel and butt. An interesting early cartridge gun of the US Civil War period frequently used by soldiers and officers during the war. Antique, no licence required to purchase or own.
