Enfield, Broad Arrow WD over 1. Also stamped on side of stock the numbers 11 over 2. Butt tang is marked with number 27. Bore is very good plus, bright with strong rifling. Comes with firing pin protector and chain. Rear sight graduated to 600 yards, WD marked, proofed and serial number 4488. The screw studs for leather sight cover have been removed. Two piece cleaning rod is not present on this specimen. An uncommon early military firearm in Canada with only 2,500 reported available by Defending the Dominion.
