Mid 19th Century percussussion pistol with Liege proof marking. 14 inches overall length,m 7 ¾ inch octagonal barrel approximately .62 calibre. Top of barrel inlaid with “Canon Ruban D’Acier” which translates to Barrel of Twisted steel. Well made and nicely decorated with engraving on the metalwork and carving on the wooden stock. Stock has hairline crack on left side as shown in photo. No ramrod present. Rifled barrel is good with some shine and corrosion evident. Antique firearm, no licence required to purchase or own.
