Refinished and re-issued during it’s lifetime. Receiver very faintly marked Crown over VR, Enfield 1887, IV. Likewise, the barrel and receiver proofs are present but quite faint. Stock has been lightly sanded and cartouche is visible with re-issue numbering clearly marked on both sides of butt stock. Bore is VG+ with strong rifling, slightly dark but no corrosion visible.
