Prussian Model 1809/39 Percussion Musket (Potsdam Musket)

CA$1,595.00
This is the last version of the Potsdam Musket made in percussion action and used by the Royal Prussian Army briefly before adoption of the Dreyse Needle Fire breech loading rifle. These obsolete muzzle loading arms were sold to US Union forces in the American Civil War. This example is quite good with some Prussian marking visible on the lock and barrel. Dated 1834. Sling swivels look like they have been period fashioned from copper and are not issued originals. Complete with ramrod. Very good example for historical display or study. Antique rifle, no licence required to purchase or own.
