Description

Originally issued to the 199^th I.C.R. (Irish Canadian Rangers) then sold to the United States in 1917 after the Ross was removed from front line service during the Great War. The US stamped the wrist with ordnance mark (flaming bomb), US and serial number 1631. Retains the Canada Tool & Specialty Company Ltd. adjustable rear sight. Overall very good condition. Bore is very good, strong rifling with some darkening.
