Original green paint visible inside helmet while the exterior is covered in several layers of battleship grey and bears numbers on the front and rear of the helmet shell. Original fixed bales and chinstrap with brass tabs. Liner is early model with vent hole in front and leather chinstrap intact. Liner shows wear and tear with some minor deterioration as shown in photos, maker marked at dome. Great M1 helmet variant.
