US 1918 Mark 1 Trench Knife Au Lion

The US Model 1918 Trench Knife, also called a Knuckle Knife because of the large brass knuckle grip intended for trench warfare hand to hand combat. This specimen is guaranteed original and was manufactured in France and is marked Au Lion on the blade with the reclining lion logo. The US made versions probably never saw action in WW1 but the French made knives did. This specimen is in very good condition as pictured and has original steel scabbard. Blade has no blue finish remaining. Scabbard is in very good condition with blue remaining.
