U.S. WWI Trench Knife M1917 with 6 raised dragon’s teeth style spikes along the handguard. Blade is 9 inch triangular blued steel tapering to a very sharp point intended to puncture heavy clothing. Maker is stamped into the hand guard, US, L.F. &” C. 1917 for Landers, Frary & Clark. Scabbard is steel mounted green leather maker marked JEWELL 1918. Overall very good original condition with some surface corrosion to the steel scabbard parts. Blade is very good plus with much original blue, no nicks and only drag marks. Guaranteed original.
