Original Pattern 1908 Cavalry Trooper’s Sword marked on bowl C broad arrow and also on edge of bowl A. SN. PLDG 29 for A Section, Princess Louise Dragoon Guards, sword number 29. Matching marking on scabbard. British maker is S.B. & N. (Sanderson Brothers & Neubold Limited). Dated 2, ’18. Enfield proofs throughout. Steel scabbard is in very good condition, no dents, has small crack near tip shown in photo. Marked C broad arrow, A. SN. PLDG 29, manufactured at Enfield 1916. Blade is excellent, no nicks or corrosion. Very good plus example of this iconic sword with Canadian ownership marks.
