Produced at Royal Laboratories Arsenal in 1874 for Canadian Military. Oak construction with brass bands. Paper label is still readable: CARTRIDGES S. A. BAL, B. L. SNIDER ARM D.C. Original metal liner is still intact. One small chip at right side as shown in photo. Exterior dimensions 52mm long, 17mm wide & 21mm deep. An excellent 152 year old artifact.
