P1907 bayonet with Siamese steel scabbard

Siam (now Thailand) used a sword bayonet for the Short Magazine Lee Enfield No. 1 Mk III rifle (SMLE) called the Type 62, issued to the Wild Tiger Corps and these bayonets were supplied with standard steel mounted leather scabbards, the leather quickly rotted in the tropical climate. The Siamese made replacement scabbards of steel using some of the parts from the original P1907 scabbards in the process. Offered here is a Pattern 1907 bayonet by Wilkinson in a Siamese steel scabbard.
