Description

Martini Henry Mk III rifle manufactured in 1883 at RSAF Enfield. Nicely marked on receiver. Military issue War Department markings throughout as well as the usual proof on the left side of barrel and knox form. Right side of butt stock has clear Enfield cartouche. Overall condition is original, good plus with chip out of toe of butt stock and two wear and tear chips out of right side of forestock. Original cleaning rod is cleaned with proof marks visible. Bore condition VG, bright with strong rifling and light frosting.
