Martini Henry 1886/1887 sword bayonet
$595.00
Pattern 1886 bayonet for .402 Martini converted to P1887 Mk 1, or simply P1887 since “Marks” were not yet designated for early 1887 bayonets. Ricasso faintly marked Crown/VR, dated /86 for year of production and C. ’91 for year of conversion. Black leather grips held by 4 rivets. Early release catch button marked with broad arrow and E-M (Enfield-Martini). Pommel is numbered and that number does not match the scabbard number. Scabbard is standard pattern for the 1886/1887 blades but has Nepalese marking on the locket.
