BSA 1916 rifle converted by the gun trade in England to single shot .22 LR for commercial sale. BSA 22 barrel, not sleeved. Magazine body is stamped 22. Fitted with a Cooey model 10A rear aperture sight, C Broad Arrow marked. Bolt number matches receiver. Rear barrel sight is SMLE pre 1916 model adjustable for windage.
