No. 7 Mk 1/L (Land) bayonet for the Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 rifle is one of the most attractive and interesting British modern bayonets available. Pommel swivels to allow mounting on the rifle then swivels back to form a conventional knife handle. Beautiful post war blade pattern carried through on the No. 9, FN C1 and L1A1 series of bayonets. Brown Paxolin grips (a resin impregnated cloth composite). VG overall condition and well marked. Blade is dated 1948 with P in circle indicating bayonet assembly by Royal Ordnance Factory Poole. Small F5 on pommel. Scabbard is steel, original in used, good condition.
