No. 7 Mk 1/L (Land) bayonet for the Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 rifle is one of the most attractive and interesting British modern bayonets available. Pommel swivels to allow mounting on the rifle then swivels back to form a conventional knife handle. Beautiful post war blade pattern carried through on the No. 9, FN C1 and L1A1 series of bayonets. Brown Paxolin grips (a resin impregnated cloth composite). VG overall condition and well marked. Ricasso marked No. 7 Mk 1/L and opposite side poorly visible marking appears to be V over IO. Pommel is roll marked MADE which is all that shows of the ENGLISH MADE markings on export bayonets. Scabbard is steel, original in very good condition.
