No. 4 Mk II* bayonet for Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk 1 rifle. Third pattern bayonet type with blade and socket made separately then joined together. British maker marked P.S. & S. Ltd for Price, Smith & Stells, with Broad Arrow. Opposite side of socket marked by the socket subcontractor. Very researchable and interesting variant of the No. 4 bayonet.
