British made No. 4 Mk 1 (T) rifle BSA Shirley M47C maker dated 1944. Butt is S51 marked indicating assembly by Holland & Holland. British proof house marked on barrel at muzzle. Serial number matching on bolt, also stamped on handguard. No. 32 Mk 1 scope Serial number 7082 also stamped on top of wrist. Scope comes in No. 8 carrying can, square corners, with serial number 7082 faintly marked on paper label glued to lid. Carrying can has scope adjusting tool. Comes with leather sling and wooden No. 15 transit chest.
