Description

Full length wooden stock for Indian trade musket. Patterned after English fowling guns and manufactured in England these were given to native Indian allies by the British military from 1790 to 1830. Stock is heavily used and shows cracks with repair in 2 places visible in photos. No metalwork except for complete butt plate, trigger guard, trigger and two ramrod pipes. This is not the Chief’s model and it does not have the silver disk on the top of the wrist. Uncommon to find full length stocks available for sale.
