General Steel Wares (GSW) manufactured helmet shell with their unusual designation of the helmet shell as Mk 1, even though the helmet is Mk II. The letters following GSW is the steel batch code. Dated 1942, non-magnetic shell. Liner size 7 3/4. All original VG+ condition.
