Police Bayonet manufactured by the firm of Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Cie. in Solingen with knight’s head logo on opposite ricasso. Overall very good condition. Stag grip handle plates in very good condition with original wreathed national eagle emblem. Eagle head pommel and oakleaf-decorated crossguard are in very good condition. The blade is chrome plated, and very nice overall, with some typical runner marks and missing the leather washer. Scabbard steel mounted leather with wear evident on the leather. Sound stitching. The crossguard is marked S. Op. 11. 206. and the scabbard S. Op. IV. 559.
