German WWII MG 37(t) ammunition can

$175.00

When the Germans occupied Czechoslovakia they used captured stocks of the Czech ZB37, renamed the MG 37 (t). The original Czech boxes had a wedge welded into the bottom to stack the ZB37 belts, which the Germans removed as they repurposed the ammunition cans for use with MG34, MG42 and other machine guns. This example still has the wedge in place. Fastening clasp at one end, hinge at the other. Slanted lid design.
