German specified 12 inch blade Ersatz (substitute) bayonets were used by Imperial German WW1 forces to equip rapidly expanding army. 12 inch long fullered blade in very good condition. Ricasso has what appears to be Crown over B suggesting Bavarian use. Metal grip does not have any paint remaining. Lettering stamped on crossguard suggests later use by Turkey.
