German specified 12 inch blade Ersatz (substitute) bayonets were used by Imperial German WW1 forces to equip rapidly expanding army. This specimen is designated EB47 by the collecting community and has a 12 inch long fullered blade in very good condition. Metal grip does not have any paint remaining. Lettering stamped on crossguard suggest Turkish use.
