Description

German specified 12 inch blade Ersatz (substitute) bayonets were used by Imperial German WW1 forces to equip rapidly expanding army. This specimen has a 12 inch long fullered blade in very good condition. Metal grip does not have any paint remaining. Scabbard in very good condition with much original green paint remaining and a maker name visible but not easy to read as shown in photo.
