Description

Model 1871 rifle bayonet to fit the 11mm 1871 Mauser rifle. Maker is Gebr. Weyersberg, Solingen. Spine marked with royal cypher of Wilhelm I of Prussia and dated 81 (1881). Regimentally marked on crossguard 3.T.B.D.1.1 with matching marking on locket of scabbard, along with others that have been marked over. Very researchable. Blade is in very good plus condition, full length 47cm. Not sharpened. Scabbard is very good condition.
