Model 1871 rifle bayonet to fit the 11mm 1871 Mauser rifle. Maker is W. R. Kirschbaum, Solingen. Spine marked with royal cypher of Wilhelm I of Prussia and dated 75 (1875). Regimentally marked on crossguard 46.R.RE.1.150. Very researchable. Blade is in good condition, full length 47cm. Not sharpened. Scabbard is very good condition, not marked. Original leather frog is unmarked.
