Original leather Pickelhaube believed to be Bavarian use by the helmet plate holes and marking where the Bavarian helmet plate would have touched the leather helmet shell. Pre WW1 brass spike never removed from helmet. Original chinstrap with brass fittings. Original liner in good condition with expected wear from use including leather lace that is broken in 1 place. Very nice example of an early Pickelhaube.
