Technically a Seitengewehr 1898 nA mS (neuer art mit Sage – with sawback). Manufactured by Erfurt. Dated on spine 1902 with Fraktur clear. Issued and used the blade is still in very good condition without nicks on the edge and not sharpened. Wooden grip original, very good condition. Crossguard regimentally marked 124,R,5.134. No scabbard.
