Description

Original German WW1 Trench Mortar 1916 pattern n/a (neuer art or new version) with traversing firing platform and wheels. Firing platform enables flat trajectory fire and is called a Flachbahn-Lafette. Complete as shown. Barrel is 15 ¾ inches long with recuperators on either side in very good condition as is the elevation lever mechanism. Wheels are wooden spokes, steel rims and no rubber remains. This is a museum piece, large and very heavy so will require crating for shipping by truck freight.
