Description

Very nice condition pre WW1 brass casing for German naval gun. Case is 513mm high (20 1/4 inches) and 18 cm at the mouth because it has expanded to seal the chamber upon firing. Base nicely maker marked Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe and dated XII 1906 (December 1906). Crown over M denotes Naval use. Very researchable and large casing. No primer, empty and inert.
