Description

We imported this helmet directly from Finland in early 2000’s. These helmets were manufactured in Germany under contract to Finland during WWII (Continuation War 1941-1944) when Finland fought alongside Germany against Russia. Officially called the Finnish Model M40/55,  supply continued post war and was used until the 1980’s. Finnish leather liner and chin strap. Original paint with wear evident. This specimen is missing one liner rivet. No markings on helmet shell. Size appears to be about 71/4 to 7 ½.
