Original Danish M1867 Yataghan bayonet for the Remington Rolling Block Rifle. Made in Germany by Gebr Weyersberg. Leaf spring catch indicating production prior to 1884. Marked on the cross guard with Danish regimental markings: 12 B 649 and serial number 60699 on the opposite side. Leather grips very good with expected wear. The blade is in very good condition and sharpened. Steel mounted leather scabbard is in very good shape showing its age with a bend in the leather as shown in the photo.
