Description

This is an example of the post war conversion of a Canadian made DR helmet converted for Airborne use to equip Canada’s post war Mobile Strike Force (MSF) circa 1952. The leather chinstrap harness is unique to this model. Liner is British production marked BS (Backstay Standard), size 7. Helmet shell manufactured by C.L./C. dated 1944. Conversion and issue is researchable. Leather liner is marked by owner, difficult to read but partially (Name), “B” tp, 1st bty (__RA), RCA. Painted white and covered with Canadian two tone net.
