Barrel length 42 inches, .75 inch bore. Lock plate clearly marked TOWER with Crown over GR and crown with arrow ordnance mark beneath frizzen spring. Strong spring, positive half and full cock, strong release Left side plate is convex India Pattern without tail. Barrel attached to stock with round pins, stock end finial. Four ramrod pipes consistent with Short Land New Pattern for steel ramrod. Stock has brass wrist escutcheon plate and nosecap. There is a crack in front of the trigger guard that has been reglued, shown in photo. Two clear proofs on top of barrel. Bore condition is clear with corrosion. A nice example of a period flintlock musket.
