Bayonet for Lee Metford or Long Lee Enfield rifles. Mk I Second type with cleanout hole in handle and hole in pommel to take cleaning rod. Clearly maker marked Wilkinson, London and dated 9 ‘ 94. Broad arrow WD marked on opposite side with proof and bend mark. Pommel is unit marked V over 2. G. R over 647. Blade in very good condition. Complete with scabbard in good condition.
