Bayonet for Long Lee Enfield No 1 Mk 1* without cleaning rod. Mk II bayonet with cleanout hole in handle and no hole in pommel to take cleaning rod. Crown over VR marked with original manufacture date of 9, 99. Enfield manufacture (EFD) with Enfield proof and bend mark. Spine also Enfield proofed. Crossguard numbered 1208. Blade in very good condition. Grip has chip near crossguard as visible in photo. Complete with scabbard in good condition. Leather was painted black at some point and much is remaining.
