P1856 muzzle loading percussion Cavalry Carbine. Lock marked Crown over VR and TOWER 1861 with crown and arrow viewer mark. Three groove barrel is 20 inches, .577 inch bore and is Very Good condition, shiny with strong rifling and evidence of light corrosion. Captive ramrod and swivel mechanism in very good condition. Cavalry sling bar and ring on left side in very good condition. British proofs on stock and barrel. Rear sight has two leafs 200, 300 yards. Antique, no licence required to purchase.
