Designed for the British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, it also fits others including the Snider Enfield conversion of the above rifle. Thumbnail type fuller. Ricasso has 3 line Enfield inspection stamp. Blade in original condition showing light corrosion from firing the rifle with bayonet affixed. Socket is numbered 62 over 162. Brass mounted leather scabbard in good condition with some service wear. Scabbard is numbered 62 over 181.
