Designed for the British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, it also fits others including the Snider Enfield conversion of the above rifle. Thumbnail type fuller. Ricasso has 3 line Enfield inspection stamp visible. Blade in good original condition, no nicks or bending, surface uniformly etched with signs of corrosion. Socket locking ring missing screw.. Brass mounted leather scabbard in good condition with service wear.
