British Pattern 1853 socket bayonet early type scabbard

Designed for the British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, it also fits others including the Snider Enfield conversion of the above rifle. Thumbnail type fuller. Ricasso has 3 line Enfield inspection stamp. Blade in Very Good original condition. Brass mounted leather scabbard is the early type with separate frog stud and locket secured by indentations and shellac. Seam is on side of scabbard instead of on the back. Very good condition with WD broad arrow stamped into leather below frog stud.
