1945 manufactured Turtle Shell shaped helmet that replaced the D-Day Mk III helmet of the same design. The Mk4 had chinstrap rings riveted lower down on the helmet for more stable wear and used a “lift the dot” fastener for the helmet liner. Original, maker marked BMB Mk IV4. Liner size 7, dated 1952.
